Become a Licensed professional at American Spirit Institute

This state certified  program introduces the learner into the field of Esthetics with our 600 hr program.  Classes are a combination of in person and distant learning sections with focuses in facials, make up, waxing, lashes, spa and body treatments, bacteriology,  anatomy & physiology , chemistry and nutrition.  Students will learn the tools to start a business and how to be prepared for success in the current market.  

Upon completion of the Professional Course, our state certified Masters Esthetics Course focuses in-depth for 600 hrs of training in a combination of person and distant learning settings.  Students are taught advanced machines and up to date modalities, chemical peeling, and lymphatic drainage.  Students will discuss current trends in the industry and get intense training in product knowledge, chemistry, massage, anatomy, and  the structure of the skin.  Students will be prepared to expand their business knowledge in ownership, retailing and marketing for success. 

Our certified 500 hr course combines both theory and practice in person and online to prepare students to confidently practice massage or assume a professional role in the field of Therapeutic Massage. The course covers Anatomy and Physiology

Pathology, Muscle Anatomy, Business, Sanitation & Hygiene, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue, Ethics, Chair Massage and will study a variety of types of Massage Techniques and discover their origins.  Students learn a thorough routine and the skills to solidify their foundation of knowledge in massage therapy. 

 ASI holds classes all year beginning as early as January 2nd to 

December 23rd.

 Sufficient classroom and therapy

time will be scheduled to fulfill the requirements of the program and to accommodate for the scheduled breaks.

The school typically takes a week break between Christmas and 

New Year’s Day,

one week in the spring, summer and early fall. Dates are determined annually typically following along with the public school schedules.  

Class Holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving,

Christmas, New Years.

We offer Open Enrollment in all of our Esthetician programs.  Massage classes have start dates  twice a year.  Contact us to get your application process started. We will have you come in for a tour and to meet our staff. Upon acceptance, students will complete a mandatory orientation and will be given a start date that best suites their needs.  Massage Classes run bi-annually. Exact start dates for this program are available the start of each year.
